I love the birds that visit me.
I have sparrows, finches, and hummingbirds.
I watch them out of my window in my sewing room.
And, since I’m in there a lot, well, I get to watch them a lot, too.
The sparrows eat a lot and they are really messy. They’re not at all like the finches who like to politely just hang around, probably because they know how cute they are. And the hummingbirds are quite the busy little bird. They’re flying around so fast that I have to wonder if they know where they’re going all the time.
So, one early Sunday morning, one of the sparrows decided to fly into my house.
Oh man, really? Right now?
Was I on a timeline? Yes.
Was I on my way out for the day? Yes.
Were there people waiting for me somewhere? Yes.
Ok…Tip Of The Day…you better work.
How To Get A Bird Out Of Your House:
Birds fly toward light. First, open your front door or the one the bird came in through. Start making your house as dark as possible. Close your curtains, your blinds, your bedroom doors. Then start looking for the bird. I found my bird in the kitchen, trying to get out of the blinds. I slowly raised them up, he made his way out, AND he flew right out the front door. Wow, it really works!
And, oh my gosh, I can still make my timeline. And, I’m glad I did because it was quite a plan…made by my daughter Mary Kay.
…church, breakfast at a cute Croatian restaurant, awesome Historic Homes tour in Monrovia CA, HER new-house home tour, and dinner out at a cute Italian restaurant!
It was one of the best days of my life!
Until next time…enjoy your day…ttyl!
